CONCERNING THE EARTH

Now let us consider briefly the aspects of the earth as seen in the Psalms. The word earth appears about 190 times altogether in the Psalms.

  1. The earth has been given to Christ as an inheritance—Psalm 2:8
  2. His name will be excellent in all the earth—Psalm 8:1
  3. The earth is the Lord’s and the fulness thereof—Psalm 24:1
  4. The earth was created by the Lord—Psalm 24:2
